historical architecture, lovely colonial atmosphere, good shower pressure

The room could use fresh paint for better aesthetics!!! A functional washroom would also enhance the experience. Musty smells in rooms should be addressed to avoid discomfort!!!

I had an unforgettable stay at Arches Fort! The location was absolutely perfect, providing easy access to the nearby sights and delightful cafes. The staff were genuinely warm and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional, with delicious local dishes.

I stayed in a Deluxe Double Room for one night, and it was pretty great! The shower was enclosed, which made things a lot nicer compared to the budget room. The room was clean and had excellent AC. It was spacious enough to feel comfortable. The bed was super comfy too. It's right in the heart of Galle Old Fort, close to restaurants and shops but still quiet. Breakfast was a highlight with lots of tasty options. Just make sure to let the staff know your breakfast preferences ahead of time!
